Gaining a point of knowledge is better than a year's Worship

Sidi Ahmad al Badawi Shadhili-Darqawi qaddas Allahu Sirru;

Hadiths on excellence of knowledge and those who study;

They include the words of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,

"The angels lower their wings to the seeker of knowledge out of pleasure at what he does." and "Allah guarantees the provision of the seeker of knowledge."

and

"Gaining a point of knowledge is better than a year's worship."

and

"The movement of a scholar in his bed is better than forty years of the worship of a worshipper without knowledge." "Anyone who attends a gathering of knowledge and does not understand anything at all gains six degrees." Imam as-Samarqandi, may Allah be pleased with him and help us by him, related that.

It is also related that the gathering of knowledge is better than the worship of seventy years.

My Notes: As for 'Gaining a point of knowledge is better than a year's worship', this can mean, simply picking up a book and reading for 2 or 5 mins and learning just one small point of reference or Masa'il a day is enough.

Also we are told don't live two days the same, ilm Knowledge is Nur, by gaining even a point ilm you have elevated your station, for now you have gain something you didn't know yesterday. And if you keep just drink small sips or drops of knowledge each day you have fulfilled a years of ibadah worship and soon you'll able to understand and address points in life islamically without be confused or full of doubt or fooled by Shaytan or be others. Learn your Sunni Aqidah first and then basic Fardh of being clean and Salah, Sabr and believe Allah will test you with trials and loss and never give up hope and the Mercy Allah ever, this last point is key. then, move from there slowly.

(Masail - Questions or Issues or Matters) which arises in day to day situations of a normal Muslim. And how to deal with those questions or  situations in reference to the islamic Sunnah or adaab without causing problems without hurting others or making mistakes or lacking adaab in that situation.

For a Muslim it is important for him to attain a sufficient amount of knowledge on the issues such as related to purity, praying and other important issues, that arise today.
